TMUA Courses
We offer two courses for students wanting to improve their TMUA score. If you are a student wanting support with the entire exam, the Comprehensive TMUA Course is for you. If you have already started your preparation and want to get support with the most difficult questions/topics students face each year, then the Booster TMUA Course is for you.
TMUA Comprehensive Course
- You'll cover each TMUA Section in-depth, and learn secret strategies to maximise your score in each section.
- This is a full-day course.

- You'll go through tons of practice questions with a TMUA expert who can help you through the most parts of the exam.
- This is a half-day course.

Here's what you'll be doing on the day for the Comprehensive Course.
session 1 | TMUA Strategy & Syllabus: PAPER 1 | 10am – 12:30pm (uk time)
In this morning, we'll cover Paper 1 of the TMUA in detail. This will go through all of the Maths knowledge you will need to perform well on this paper, as well as applying the knowledge to practice questions. This will help you get a feel for the exam as a whole.
session 2 | LUNCH | 12:30PM - 1:30PM (uk time)
Time for a lunch break after an intensive morning of learning!
session 3 | TMUA Paper 2: PART 1 | 1:30pm - 3:00pm (uk time)
Paper 2 of the TMUA looks similar to Paper 1, but the questions are scenario based and much longer. We spend part one covering numbers and the logic of arguments, along with counterexample questions, to get you prepared for this Paper of the exam.
session 4 | Break | 3:00PM - 3:15PM (uk time)
After another brain-tingling session, it's time for a quick break to recharge!
session 5 | TMUA Paper 2: PART 2 | 3:15pm – 5:30pm (uk time)
Part 2 of the Paper 2 section covers how to successfully approach logic questions and constructing proof questions. After covering these two subtopics, you'll be a strong position to continue your preparation and score highly on the exam.
session 6 | Debrief & Q&A | 5:30PM - 6:00PM (uk time)
Here is when you can ask any questions you have built up over the day (although you can ask questions if and when you think of them through the rest of the course!). Your expert tutor will be available until 6PM so you can pick their brains for last-minute tips and advice.
Here's what you'll be doing on the day for the Booster Course.
session 1 | TMUA PAPER 1 | 10am – 11:30pm (uk time)
We will go through lots of the toughest practice questions in Paper 1, the Standard Maths paper.
session 2 | LUNCH | 11:30AM - 12:00PM (uk time)
Time for a lunch break after an intensive morning of learning!
session 3 | TMUA Paper 2 | 12:00pm - 2:30pm (uk time)
Now we'll do the same again for Paper 2 of the TMUA. Lots and lots of practice questions covering the topics and questions students find most difficult year-after-year.
session 4 | Debrief and Q&A | 2:30PM - 3:00PM (uk time)
Here is when you can ask any questions you have built up over the day (although you can ask questions if and when you think of them through the rest of the course!).
