ESAT Courses
We offer two courses for students wanting to improve their ESAT score. If you are a student wanting support with the entire exam, the Comprehensive ESAT Course is for you. If you have already started your preparation and want to get support with the most difficult questions/topics students face each year, then the Booster ESAT Course is for you.
ESAT Comprehensive Course
- You'll cover each ESAT Subject Specific Section in-depth, and learn secret strategies to maximise your score in each section.
- This is a full-day course.
- Separate courses for different Subject sections.

- You'll go through tons of practice questions with a NSAA expert who can help you through the most parts of the exam.
- This is a half-day course.

Here's what you'll be doing on the day of the Comprehensive Course.
SESSION 1 | Biology and Maths 1 | 10:00 am - 12:30 pm BST
The morning session will cover a Biology and Mathematics Section 1 of the ESAT. Here is a list of the topics covered during the first session:
Biology: Cells, Inheritance, DNA, Gene Technologies, Variation, Enzymes, Animal Physiology, Plant Physiology and Ecosystems.
Maths: Units, Numeracy, Ratio & Proportion, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Probability.
Lunch | 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm BST
Time for a lunch break after an intensive morning of learning!
Session 2 | Chemistry and physics | 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm BST
The second session will focus on Chemistry and Physics, students applying to Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology will benefit the most from this session. Here is a list of the topics covered during the second session:
Physics: Electricity, Magnetism, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Matter, Waves and Radioactivity.
Chemistry: Atomic Structure, The Periodic Table, Chemical Reactions, Quantitative Chemistry, Group Chemistry, Acid, Bases and Salts, Rates of Reactions, Organic Chemistry, Metals and Chemical Tests.

After another brain-tingling session, it's time for a quick break to recharge!
Session 3 | Maths 2 | 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm BST
This session will cover advanced Mathematics topics such as integration, trigonometry and differentiation. A required section for students applying to Cambridge engineering.
Here is the full list of topics covered in the Maths 2 subtest: Algebra and Functions, Sequences and Series, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Exponentials, Logarithms, Differentiation, Integration and Graphs.
session 4 | Debrief and Q&A | 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm BST
Here is when you can ask any questions you have built up over the day (although you can ask questions if and when you think of them through the rest of the course!).
Here's what you'll be doing on the day of the Booster Course.
SESSION 1 | Biology and Maths 1 | 10:00 am - 11:00 am BST
